We are all well-acquainted with the holiday that is celebrated on May 1st, so-called the Labor Day, marked in the whole world. Namely, as people who lived in the 19th century say, or how it was transferred to us in 1886 in Chicago, Illinois, the workers rebelled, protested and demanded reduced working time to 8 hours. In the numerous conflicts with the police at that time, a few demonstrators lost their lives. Recently, after the congresses that followed, it was decided that this day, May 1, be marked and celebrated as the Labor Day.
In our country, this is a greatly anticipated holiday, which is mostly marked by young people. Young people mark by preparing barbecue, camping, absolutely put emphasis on socializing and relaxation. On the eve of this holiday, in addition to the campaign, we decided to experiment a bit with a food, so in this text I will present you two dishes that we decided to prepare.
1. Baked chicken legs and chicken breasts
2. Baked Common Carp
Preparation
Fresh common carp must be cleaned (remove the fish scale) as well as the inside of the fish, cut off the head and tail, and then cut into fillets.
The following ingredients were used as a soy sauce:
- Sunflower oil
- Cayenne Pepper
- Turmeric
- Dry parsley
- Garlic
- And of course salt optionally.
After you slip the fish you need to leave a short period of time to absorb all the juiciness, while you can prepare a plate for that time. The plate is a large oval in which various dishes are traditionally prepared on fire. It's specific in that all the juices which meat releases are kept on a plate, and this gives the food a much different taste than the classic grill. This is the main reason why we decided to use it. On a heated plate, it is necessary to bake fish from 15 to 20 minutes. It is baking until it has a golden color, which you can see below. This specialty is best served with a white dry wine.
As a second meal, we decided to prepare a traditional gourmet meal from the barbecue, chicken legs and chicken breast. This does not require a more detailed explanation, because I believe that everyone is preparing this for his own taste. We only added a little bit of spice to make the meal more delicious. With all of this, we also prepared French fries as an addition.
