Today I made Butterflies cookies. I made one batch, which was one baking sheet. I made it just before the guests arrived. Why butterflies? Because I wanted a summer mood. It's already cold here in the mornings, down to +10, and the temperature reaches +29 degrees Celsius during the day. I want to extend the warm days.

Let's get to work.

Ingredients:
70 g sugar
70 g vegetable oil
1 egg
200 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt.

Break the egg.

Add sugar and vegetable oil.

Add baking powder and weigh out all the ingredients.

I always sift the flour. Pour the flour into our mixture.

Now knead the dough.

You can add flour to the dough to make it look like mine in the photo.

Now roll out the dough, and sprinkle with sugar. I sprinkled it with sugar and cinnamon.

Cut out figures with a cookie cutter.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for ~10 minutes. The baking time depends on the features of your oven!

Bake until golden brown.
