On this occasion I will share a work of aceh people who are worldwide. namely the cakes of ordinary or commonly called karah aceh. this cake is a typical cake aceh usually served on special occasion or big day like Eid or wedding event. actually the way of making it very easy because just wearing some necessary materials:
250 gr rice flour
500 gr sugar
Right amount of oil
½ liter of water
Special tools:
Coconut shell with many holes (karah cake mold)
How to Make a Genuine Kush Cake Aceh:

  1. Before the cake is made, the rice is soaked for 1 night.
  2. Then washed out until the water is clear, then drain.
  3. After that, rice pounded with dimples until smooth.
  4. Next, the flour is sifted and dried in the sun to dry.
  5. Then the flour is filtered once more and ready to be processed into dough.
  6. Next step, mix the flour and sugar and stir well and add water little by little until the dough is flat and thickened.
  7. Then put the dough into the mold that has been provided earlier.
  8. Once inserted into the mold, the dough can be directly in the fry while turning the tin cake circle the frying pan with a thickness of ½ cm.
  9. If it is cooked, remove and drain.
  10. The Original Naturally Precious Cake of Aceh is ready to be served.

Actually this cake is quite unique because like a spider web and its shape is like a crescent moon. making and its form was in question by tourists who come to aceh. but this is not a secret anymore because the recipe and the way he made it a lot in publications on youtube and other media because people aceh not stingy science.
