I spent a lot of time without trying this cake, but it is really delicious and I remembered it and I said to myself: you have to share it!
It's worth doing, they will not regret it if they do.
This cake is more than anything in bakeries but it is also possible to do it from home;)
Ingredients
150 Gr. Of Sugar
180 Gr. Of Flour
6 Eggs
2 Tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 Liter of Cream to beat
Chocolate chips
30 Ml. of Gran Menier or Brandy
1/2 Kilo of Strawberries or Cherries
Preparation
Preparation of the Sponge Cake
In a bowl place the flour and cocoa powder and mix well.
Set aside in a fat-free bowl to beat the whole eggs with the sugar
When the mixture becomes frothy, whitish and gelatinous in appearance, it stops beating and with a wooden pallet the flour is incorporated with cocoa, with enveloping movements, taking care not to get too much air so that the cake does not get heavy. Place the preparation in a greased and floured mold and bake at 350ºF (180ºC) for 30 minutes
Preparation of the Cake
Take the chocolate sponge cake and make two horizontal cuts to get three layers.
Arrange the first layer of sponge cake in the tray where the cake will be assembled and lightly moisten it with liquor.
Place a layer of whipped cream and chopped strawberries in halves, place another layer of whipped cream on the strawberries to stick the next layer of sponge cake.
Once the layer of sponge cake is placed, we go back to wetting with liquor and repeat the previous process.
Decorate the whole cake with whipped cream and cover the sides with the chocolate chip. Refrigerate. And ready!
And you're ready to share it in an afternoon with friends, with your partner or your alone! With coffee would be very good, the truth is my mouth watering!
