Este fin de semana quedamos con unos amigos a merendar y no sabíamos dónde ir.
Hasta que se nos ocurrió merendar en "La Canasta", una cafetería muy famosa en Málaga. De hecho hay varias en toda la provincia.
Se caracteriza por tener unos dulces buenísimos y el trato es inmejorable.
This weekend we met some friends for a picnic and we didn't know where to go.
Until it occurred to us to have a snack at "La Canasta", a very famous cafeteria in Malaga. In fact there are several throughout the province.
It is characterized by having some very good sweets and the treatment is unbeatable.
Cuando te pides un café, te preguntan cómo lo quieres, si más o menos intenso, en taza doble o normal. Esta es la normal, la doble la veía demasiado grande.
When you order a coffee, they ask you how you want it, if more or less intense, in a double or normal cup. This is the normal one, the double looked too big.
Nos pedimos varios dulces para compartir y así probar distintos sabores.
We ordered several sweets to share and thus try different flavors.
Este dulce es perfecto si te gusta mucho, muchísimo el chocolate ya que es el ingrediente principal. Es un pastel de chocolate con bizcocho de chocolate también por dentro.
Riquísimo.
This sweet is perfect if you like chocolate very, very much since it is the main ingredient. It is a chocolate cake with brownie also inside.

Nos pedimos también un pastel de fresas en almíbar que estaba muy rico. El merengue que podéis ver en la foto no me dio tiempo a hacerle otra mejor porque en el rato que tardé ya se lo habían terminado. Era un merengue de nata y chocolate.
We also ordered a strawberry shortcake in syrup that was very rich. The meringue that you can see in the photo did not give me time to make a better one because in the time it took they had already finished it. It was a cream and chocolate meringue.
Y por último una tarta de tres chocolates que nunca falla.
And finally, a three-chocolate cake that never fails.
Esta en concreto, tenía un sabor bastante especial y diferente, no sé si es porque, aunque es una tarta tres chocolates y en ésta las capas de los distintos chocolates suelen estar bastante diferenciadas, en la que hacen aquí en concreto puedes ver los distintos tipos de chocolate pero se mezclan y se funden.
This one in particular had a quite special and different flavor, I don't know if it is because, although it is a three chocolate cake and in this one the layers of the different chocolates are usually quite differentiated, in which they make here in particular you can see the different types of chocolate but they mix and melt.
Lo pasamos genial, hacía bastante tiempo que no veníamos y comprobamos que se superan cada vez más. Los postres están buenísimos, venden también pan y embutidos.
Los trabajadores muy amables como siempre y había de todo para poder elegir.
Si no querías merendar pasteles, también tienes la opción de tostadas, croissants, zumos naturales e incluso helado.
Una gran variedad para mayores y pequeños.
We had a great time, it had been a long time since we came and we found that they are getting better and better. The desserts are delicious, they also sell bread and cold cuts.
The workers were very friendly as always and there was everything to choose from.
If you didn't want to snack on cakes, you also have the option of toast, croissants, natural juices and even ice cream.
A great variety for young and old.
