Ever wonder why your maple sryup bottle has such a tiny handle? Mystery solved...... maple syrup used to be stores in gallon size containers and the handle was useful in carrying and pouring the syrup. As the bottles got smaller, so did the handles. This is called a skeuomorph,"retained but no longer functional stylistic feature." This feature is only found in genuine maple syrup bottles.
Interesting, I have noticed.
Yes it is very interesting, my 11 year old granddaughter brought it to my attention this morning. I was impressed, to say the least.
breathtaking & brilliant!
