Mushrooms with Sour Cream and Onion - A Simple Recipe

Hello everybody! I want to share a very simple recipe of stewed mushrooms. This weekend I picked a lot of mushrooms and decided to cook some mushroom dishes, for example mushrooms with sour cream and onion.

I’m sure that julienne made of fresh, just picked honey fungis is very tasty.

Ingredients:

500 – 600 g of mushrooms (I have honey fungis)

250 g of sour cream

2-3 onions

salt

pepper

herbs

vegetable oil for frying

1. First of all I washed mushrooms, scraped a little and then cut them.

2. The next step is to boil mushrooms. I put mushrooms and one onion into the water and boiled for 10 minutes.

*I’ve heard that if onions become dark blue, the mushrooms are poisonous, but if onions don’t change it’s colour, the mushrooms are good and edible. My mushrooms are edible, because it’s all right with the onion’s colour.

3. I poured some oil to a frying pan, put mushrooms into it and fried them for 25 minutes.

4. Now it’s time to cut onions and add them to mushrooms.

5. I seasoned the dish with salt and pepper, added some herbs and fried for 5 minutes.

6. The last step is to add sour cream to fried mushrooms.

In 5-7 minutes the mushroom dish is ready.
