Once you soak the pulses overnight for say 12 hours, drain the water and clean them thoroughly under running tap water or rinse it multiple times.
Then lay a clean white cloth (no need of even damping it) spread the pulses on the cloth, tie it up in a nice knot and just place it somewhere airy. Don't keep it in a closed box or something. Just place it on your kitchen table or dining table and leave it for another 6-12 hours. (I leave it for another 12 hours for good sprouting).
Do try it and let me know how it went.@pisolutiinsmru, what I mentioned above is the traditional way of sprouting pulses that has been passed down to us from generations. This is a brand-name method and quite failproof. Please try it sometime.
