Squid is a plentiful supply all around the Philippines.Mainly it comes in its adobo from which consists of a small squid chopped in light adobo sauce mix with the ink.It is tastier than it looks.
Hello steemians,Today I want to share my home made adobong pusit (squid). This is one of the dishes that I had been craving to and make this over a long time.Since today is my rest day,I decided to went into the market and look for a squid,.In the market I was jumping in joy when i found this squid.Just take a look to this picture.!
The squid looks so fresh, and the skin are still blinking. Then I decided to by at least 1 kilo of it for my squid adobo.I buy this for only 250 per kilo,1/2 of this is for my squid adobo and the other 1/2 is for my grilled squid.
Squid adobo is stewed in vinegar soy sauce and squid ink.It is one of the common dishes in the Philippines. This type of adobo usually contains more sauce than usual and its in color due to the ink.Squid adobo is very popular in the Philippines want to know why?Well,Filipinos loves squid no matter how it is cooked and adobo is definetly a Filipino's top choice when it comes any dish.Just like me,I love to eat adobong pusit.
And now steemians, here is my grilled squid and my adobong pusit.Come!and Lets eat!
The taste of my adobong pusit is quiet different as well as the ink gives it a salty with a bit seafood taste.
