Both of my kids love this brownies too much. We often make it.
If you have nut allergies at home, certainly can omit the nuts, it's a good brownies itself 😉
200 g flour
150 g sugar
50 g cocoa powder
A dash of salt
1/2 tsp BP
100 ml cooking oil
200 ml warm water
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 c mixed nuts (filbert, Brazil but, pecan, almond, cashew), chopped
Preheat oven 350 F
Mix dry, make a well in center
Pour in wet ingredients
Mix to just combine
Pour batter into parchment lined pan
Sprinkle top with chopped nuts
Bake for 35-40 mins
Cool on rack and enjoy!

This looks really good! They look like what I call a food dessert, that is sweets that are also filling and have nutritious ingredients. The nuts must add a lot of protein. This is definitely my kind of food. Great recipe :)

I hear that! My younger brother is 10, and the only way to get him not to eat sweets and junk all the time, is to make our own versions with healthy ingredients :)
