I can attest to the uber dankness of the food at the @gardenofeden! It is TRULY mouthgasmic - the quality surpasses just about every restaurant I've ever visited... Even the $30-a-plate type restaurants (which is saying ALOT, because they provide it without charging anyone a single cent)!
...But for me, that isn't the best part. I truly have hated myself for feeling like I had to support the grocery store chains and Monsanto-Mega-Farms that say: "This is the cost of business - either buy from us or go hungry!" ...The Garden of Eden stands as a testament to what is not only possible, but what is righteous and honorable. The fact that it is some of the best food I've ever eaten is simply... potatoes. ;-)
Well said, well said~
As you've experienced, food freedom eludes many, and sometimes it doesn't feel like a choice. Once people are aware of our example, they have to acknowledge that there ARE options. It is a choice to participate in that dishonorable system, and dishonor doesn't feel good to us.
