Autumn is the season of the swallows to the south, the ripening of the grapes, the harvest, the autumn apples, the pears and the blue plums.
It is for them that I will tell you a little more now.
They are very tasty, very sweet and incredibly useful and healthy.
This is primarily because of the high fiber content they have.
It has been proven that eating plums lead to the loss of more pounds, which should encourage all weight loss.
It turns out that blue plums help suppress appetite, and improve digestion.
Apart from everything else, however, it turns out that plums are rich in many protective substances, such as minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and cellulose. And although these fruits have a laxative effect, they have a very low energy value, about 4 times less than that of the bread.
These characteristics make blue plums an excellent food that has advantages over all other fruits.
Plums are used prophylactically for anemia, physical and mental fatigue, depression, liver function disorder, chronic rheumatism, and atherosclerosis.
It is best to consume fresh but can be used for compote, jam and in different pastries.
Do not sweeten the plums additionally, they are rich enough in fruit sugar. It is important to mention that these fruits facilitate the absorption of iron, which is very useful in case of anemia.
They are also rich in potassium, which is important for regulating blood pressure and heart function.
Despite the beneficial effects of this fruit, it should not be taken in too large quantities because it can cause stomach problems and diarrhea.

I could have done with some of these blue plums this weekend I would have had a few to suppress the urge for a snack that for some strange reason hit me this weekend

i just finished my homemade blue plums juice! it was delicious and a good substitute for unhealthy drinks.
This is nice, just don't drink too much can cause stomach problems.
