MUSHROOM GRAVY
This gravy little spicy. It is very delicious, flavourful Indian style dish prepared with mushrooms. It goes very well with chapatti and flavoured rice.
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 CUPS MUSHROOM
• 1 CINNAMON STICK
• 3 CARDAMOM
• 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER
• 1/2 TABLESPOON CUMIN POWDER
• 1 TABLESPOON GARAM MASALA
• 1 TABLESPOON CORIANDER POWDER
• 2 TABLESPOON CHILLI POWDER
• 1 BIG ONION CHOPPED
• 1 TOMATO CHOPPED
• 1 TABLESPOON GINGER GARLIC PASTE
• 3 GREEN CHILLI
• HANDFUL CURRY LEAVES
• CORRIANDER LEAVES
• SALT TO TASTE
• WATER AS REQUIRED
METHOD
• IN A PAN HEAT OIL AND ADD IN WHOLE SPICES (CINNAMOM , CARDAMOM )
• NOW ADD CUMIN SEEDS SAUTE IT FOR A MONUTE AND ADD ONION WHEN THE ONION BECOME TRANSPARENT ADD GINGER GARLIC PASTE .
• WHEN ONION BECOMES GOLDEN BROWN ADD TURMERIC POWDER , CHILLI POWDER , GARAM MASALA , CORIANDER POWDER , RED CHILLI POWDER , GREEN CHILLI , CURRY LEAVES COOK THESE INGREDIENTS FOR 3 MINS
• NOW ADD TOMATO SAUTE IT WELL FOR 5 MINS. WHEN THE OIL OOZES OUT
• ADD CHOPPED MUSHROOM AND MIX WELL. COOK IT FOR 5 MINS
• WHEN THE MUSHROOM ARE COOKED ADD WATER IF REQUIRED
• AND GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES.
