#1 Food Recipe: How to make Gimbap/Kimbap?

The autumn is coming. Let's make a plan to go camping with someone. And you don't need to think of we should pack what for outdoor meal. Because I will give you a good idea. The Kimpap is a simple and taste meal to make. You can fully enjoy delicious Kimpap by your hand in your camping meal.

It's not too difficult to cook this dish. I will show you good recipe from my Korean friend. Below here is the recipe to serve 2 people, let's get serious!

  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 4 sheets of gim
  • 400g beef steak
  • 1 large carrot
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 to 10 lettuce green leaves
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • vegetable oil
    First we have to cook the rice. When the rice is cooked, placing 4 cups cooked rice into large bowl. Mix in 1/2 teaspoon salt and 2 teaspoons sesame oil with a wooden spoon. Let it cool down. Then cut 1 large carrot into matchsticks. Slice beef steak into strips and put the strips into a bowl with 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon white sugar. Cover it and set aside to let them marinate while we fry the egg. When the pan is heaten, we pour the egg mixture with 1/4 teaspoon salt into the pan and spread it into a large circle, then fold it. After fried eggs, cut it into 1cm wide bar. Now it's time to cook the marinated beef. Pour the beef into a hot pan and mix together until it is cooked. Finally, we start rolling Kimpap. First, we place a sheet of gim on a bamboo mat, then placing one by one in the following order lettuce green leaves, beef, carrot, a few egg bars in the center of the mixed rice. After that roll bamboo mat and push out the mat when you roll. Repeat 3 more times with the remaining ingredients. Cut each rolled Kimpap into pieces with a sharp knife. Now you are ready to enjoy your delicious Kimpap.

Yup, that is Kimchi but I bought them from supper market. :)

Yup, you can cook it in your kitchen. Opening your refrigerator, almost ingredients are in here. And buy gim from super market nearest. After that you just sit and enjoy Kimpap ^^
