Eating in Melbourne: Red Kitchen

Tonight my friend and I went to try a relatively new restaurant nearby called Red Kitchen. I found a 30 percent off deal on Dimmi and booked a table. We were pleasantly surprised that the place was very bright and spacious. The waiter was friendly and most of all the food was great value for money. My friend ordered the special of the day which was a barramundi with a potato rosti and bed of zucchini. There were some cherry tomatoes on the side. With the 30 percent discount it was only around 10 dollars. My friend said it was delicious.

I decided to go for the signature beef burger which came with fries. The beef patty was thick and juicy and I liked how it came with a fried egg and bacon. The lettuce, tomato and cheese were good too. The bun was lightly toasted. Very satisfying and filling! The chips were nice and crispy too. The discounted price was $12.60. Well worth the price.

Because the restaurant is located in a hotel there was ample underground parking. I will definitely be back for breakfast or lunch!
