Time for the Japanese style sushi restaurant in the heart of Wenzhou. It is important that the restaurant setting fits the style of the food. You can see that the restaurant has been designed to be like traditional Japanese food house. Interior is all wooden with tatami mats everywhere.
Once at the dining tables, the place seems more modern with marbled tables and marble rail dividers.
Nigiri salmon's in two styles start off our meal. The first light coloured pink is the semi-grilled salmon nigiri. The deeper pink colour salmon is the raw salmon nigiri. My favourite is the raw type.
After that, we order some rich salmon roe sushi. It is juicy and very tasty.
The beef soup is actually very plain. It isn't overly flavoured but at the same time quenches thirst and holds the appetite warm.
Last is my favourite of the entire meal. The Tuni sushi served with the grilled sole fish and bamboo. It is very strange the taste but after getting used to it, it is very pleasant.
