Korean Food

in #food7 years ago (edited)

I and my girlfriend yesterday passed by a Korean restaurant and decided to have lunch there. I have never tried Korean cuisine, except for Korean salads of carrots and cabbage, which are very common in Russia. However, I was in Thailand and Vietnam and I like some Asian dishes.

I ordered soup Kuksi, which I really liked.

A dish that all Koreans adore. According to historical materials, as early as the 12th century, kuxi was common, as a dish that was prepared at various festivities. An even greater development of ways of preparing this dish began during the reign of the Li dynasty. And The length of noodles is considered to bring longevity or prophesying a long life together.

My girlfriend ordered a Funchoz salad.

A traditional dish of Russian Koreans. Thin crystal noodles in a spicy dressing with chicken, carrots and cucumber. Fresh, spicy and appetizing salad.

Also we were given a little pickled vegetables as a gift from the cafe.

I also ordered Nikuman. Korean manti with pork, kimchi and champignons. This dish was pretty fresh, but the sauce to it was salty and slightly spicy. Therefore, in general, it was delicious.

I liked Korean food. It made a difference in my usual diet. I will visit this cafe with pleasure again.

Lovely posting @serkorkin
It's so interesting to see Korean foods in Russia :D I've never tried tomatoes in Korean cuisine, but looks very tasty.. Hope I can try next time.

I ate and did not notice that there were tomatoes. I was amazed by the combination of sour cabbage, fresh cucumbers and noodles in the soup.

Plus, scrambled eggs in the soup.

Is it? I thought those reddish pieces in your photo were tomatoes.

Yes, tomatoes.

The tomato in the soup does not surprise me. I am surprised by the combination of different products in one soup.
