Last night, I went out to dinner with a group of friends and I ordered these chicken lettuce wraps. They were mouthwatering delicious, yet very different than the ones that I make at home.
It is so interesting to me that a simple meal can have so many pleasant variations at different restaurants. Each place has their unique ingredients.
When I prepare lettuce wraps, I cut the chicken in small bite size pieces and cook them on a pan with green onions and add pine nuts until they are roasted.
I mix 1/2 part coconut aminos (gluten free) with manuka honey (super healthy) and that is my seasoning to taste.
I serve it on butter lettuce with organic brown rice and the sauce/seasoning is amazing with each drop.
This looks tasty as hell! I think the best part is that I actually make something very similar like this for myself :-)
