I tried making sushi for the first time, and I think it turned out pretty well. It's actually much more difficult than it looks. The ratios of filling to rice are challenging to get right, and the rolling process isn't easy, particularly if the rice is on the outside.
If you want to try it, go out and get the ingredients. The only thing you really have to cook is the rice, and the rest is just assembly!
I'll get a little more advanced next time and try to do some more complicated rolls.
