Well, today is still rainy day and pretty cold. I am so hungry and waiting for my dish. Actually, now I am writing this post in one of food court. I order a glass of Teh tarik (Pulled tea), it is a hot milk tea beverage. Its name comes from a pouring process of pulling the drink during preparation. It is made from black tea and either condensed milk or evaporated milk. Teh tarik has been a popular drink in Southeast Asian countries. Traditionally, it served with Roti Canai which has become a popular set breakfast by Malaysians. But I don't choose Roti canai as a food in this night because I see other delicious food that make me really want to try. First, Let me review about the taste of Teh tarik in Makmu Food Court. Well, I like the aroma of this drink. It is not really thick and dilute. It is quite tasty.

Okay guys, this is the dish that accompanied my night. It is Lontong Cap Gomeh "Bundo ITJE". Well, in this food court there are several food tenants. Bundo Itje is one of the tenant served Indonesian Cuisine. Most of their menu are Padang Food. I never eat Lontong cap gomeh and when I see in their menu, I want to try it. Let me give you information about this food. This food is traditional Indonesian dishes, Javanese cuisine. It is rice cake(Lontong) served with richly-flavoured dishes which includes chicken in coconut milk(opor ayam), vegetables soup(sayur lodeh), beef liver fried in sambal chili paste, hard boiled pindang egg, koya powder made of soy and dried shrimp or beef floss, pickles, chili paste and prawn cracker. Lontong Cap Gomeh usually consumed by Chinese Indonesian community during Cap go meh celebration.

I try to search some information in the internet about this food. I saw many kinds of Lontong Cap gomeh pictures. But this is the Lontong Cap gomeh in Bundo Itje. It doesn't looks like in some picture that I saw in the internet. Here, they served the food in the bowl and mixed with every things. So, let me taste it first guys. Ehmmm, it is quite delicious. I like the spices and herbs taste. I mentioned before about the rice cake served with many several components. In my bowl, it only contains rice cake, beef liver fried, egg with sambal, potatoes rendang and vegetables soup( kuah lodeh). It's all mixed and looks like so thick. Overall, the taste is quite good and delicious but I don't really enjoyed this food because too thick and sticky.
