Different, but just as good in it's own way. My only problem with BBQing in japan is the lack of beef selection. Hard to get some thick steaks there, but you can make up for it by getting some A4 or A5 wagyu.

I have seen some nicer BBQ's in and around Tokyo lately. Costco has a few too. But like you said, carting them around in Jcars isn't happening.

BBQing at the river is great though. Looks like you guys had a nice time.

This is an annual BBQ that we do. The water is cold, but it feels great!

I still haven't made it to Costco yet. It would be nice to pick up a big flank steak or brisket from there and cook it up right.
