I am just curious to know do you get all of this from dumpster dive?
It would be impossible to do it in our country as the garbage system is so messy that no one can even stand close to it.

It's a luxury diving here as it's mostly not so messy.
But ofc I spent a lot of time during the years just cleaning the food etc
In Canada they lock the garbage bins despite there being a plethora of edible food. Bylaw officers caught my homeless friend rummaging in a bin and he was charged $300 and had to go to court for "obstruction of waste management". Canada is among the most wasteful nations and also among the most obese. Today exist 5 famines on Earth. Yemen, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, Haiti, and this does not include all the malnourished nations.
I heard there are places which require grocery stores to donate it to food banks instead of throwing it out. Throwing out food is a sin.
sorry I can't catch the main idea - you gather this food from garbages of the supermarkets? Good food with good preserving time? But why is it thrown away? And what is your purpose? To save nice products from garbages?

wow, I love the initiative, one man's waste is another man's wealth, they is no point wasting so much of food when many destitude ms are many out there in the streets hungry, food conservation should be done to curtail the waste of food and possibly redeploy some of the food to the needy.
I really like the way you guys meet weekly, it will really energize and strengthen the week ones among you and,also advance the guru's too.

...Love seeing this...people should be aware of how much food is thrown out by corporations...
I've done my fair share of dumpster diving when I spent 10 or so years hitch hiking around the U.S....we fed a lot of hungry people & taught a lot of others how to dive as well...
