The practice of foraging in garbage that has been put out on the street in dumpsters, garbage cans, etc., for discarded items that may still be valuable, useful, or fixable.

Sharing Food at our Weekly Meet-up!
Every week on Thursdays we meet up in the middle of the city to give away food. It's a great way to meet and help each other. We do it at the same time as the decentralized farmers market that I've initiated which adds even more value! :)
This weeks meet-up was a great success and I gave away most of what I had in store. Unfortunately I forgot to take in pictures as I was quite busy handing out food and talking to people! :)

I regularly invite friends over to share the abundance of food, been doing it for many years but now I make sure to introduce everyone to the Steem blockchain! :)

Great post Reko. Loved reading it. Indeed, all of us waste soo much of food not realizing the fact that there are millions of people including poor children who die each day of hunger and starvation. Your weekly meet is an extremely noble cause. Keep it up buddy. Upvoted, resteemed and following u as always.

Hey @reko, why don't you take some nice photos of the CROWBARS you use in the middle of the night to open the delivery-truck doors while they're idling near the casino loading bay? Your "booty" photos are beginning to look more like something out of an episode of "The Sopranos" .. Hahahah...
