Greetings world of Steemians!
Couple of days back, I ate one of my most favorite snacks...boiled peanuts in salted water!
They were in fact made by one of my sister, and were absolutely perfect with the level of saltiness which was just amazing on the palate!
While enjoying them...I said to myself why not capture some 'peanut shots'!!! And well... I can confirm that they were really worth it! Check them below and let me have your thoughts!
The pleasure in peeling peanuts and reach to that yummy nut is just so nice! I love peeling my peanuts myself, I enjoy them better!
Something that i am sure most of us don't like is when you find the below after carefully peeling your peanuts!!! Check the one on the left!!!
I have always loved eating boiled peanuts! They are actually in season here in Mauritius and time to enjoy them to the max!

you can also roast peanuts on Fry pan without oil and put little salt on them, they are also very tasty :)
Yes roasted peanuts are great too. Here they also roast peanut in hot sand, I'll post on this some day.
You actually boil peanuts in salt water? Never heard of it! How long you boil them?

yes, boiled in salted water! I prefer this way too. Especially when the peanuts are still warm and eating them during a rainy day...

Second: Are they easy to peel after that? I find them difficult to peel in their normal state.
@progressivechef I love all kinds of nuts, in Ecuador there is a tree peanut called Sacha Inchi , very nutritious and rich in Omega.
Well I haven't tried boiled peanuts yet... But I love roasted peanuts... I will try boiled peanuts now as I didn't know that we can make boiled peanuts in salted water.
I have never heard about boiled peanuts. How much salt on how much water should I take? And how long do they have to boil? I can imagine that this tastes well. But I have to see it with my own ... I mean, taste it with my own tongue ... 😉

I like them roasted and salted..... with lots of beer.

aduuuhhh, so to keen to eat nuts. I think the most delicious beans in the world are dodol beans. Peanut Dodol is one of the typical Indonesian food that tastes also uhhhhhhh, so very yummy men. I recommend @progressivechef or everyone who sees this post, eat dodol beans right now. hehe @vanday
