Malaysian favorite Breakfast ~ Nasi Lemak

in #food7 years ago

This is what Malaysian usually would have in the morning ~ Breakfast ~ Nasi Lemak
Nasi Lemak lovers would have this daily and told me they would never get fed-up on this food.

I gave them a "shocking" face expression and they replied me "Would you get fed-up of eating rice daily?".

Alright, I back off. Understanding completely. Salute!!

I have started compiling Nasi Lemak pictures about 30 days now for this posting. Can't believe the number of times we had Nasi Lemak for breakfast, supper and during our jogging session.

I personally think Nasi Lemak is Malaysian all-time favorite breakfast but as for Chinese, typical Chinese who chooses not to have too heavy breakfast would go for toast bread ~ soft boiled eggs. They are still the number 1!

What is your favorite Breakfast?

Sort:

I just had nasi lemak this morning! 😂
And i didnt know there is Chinese-style nasi lemak. What makes it different from the normal nasi lemak?

I think the sambal is different, Malay sambal usually tend to be a little sweet... honestly, you would be able to differentiate Chinese nasi lemak and Malay nasi lemak when you taste them, even nyonya nasi lemak taste different hahahaha

There's nyonya nasi lemak too? 😱 How can i not know this 😔

@melancholee you are so right. My nasi lemak Chinese style's sambal not sweet.. I tried adding sugar to it but still can't get the taste of Malay's. Maybe need more sugar, again I am conscious on using too much sugar.

All the food mentioned above are my favourite breakfast... And you are making me super hungry....

Let eat together leh ...

ok... let's go mum mum... :D

This post is making me hungry. I love nasi lemak but I haven't found a place that sells good nasi lemak in KK sadly. No joke nasi lemak can be eaten as breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, tea time, dinner and supper. Probably anytime in between too.

I hope you will find one soon, by the way, what do you guys usually have for breakfast?

I hope so too! Well, there's fried meehoon with fried eggs and fishcake. 😋 Or kon lau fish slice soup (I haven't had this in awhile but so yummy!).

If m home, cereal usually. Koko krunch or if I'm feeling fancy, banana nut crunch. 😁

Come klang...nasi lemak sambal banjir. U will always remember for all d right reasons.

Sure.. will buzz you when we are in Klang.

Yaya...do buzz me. Bring ur whole gang down.

Nice post. You are part of my curation series "Food by Red Fish #4".
