Yes, it's the perfect gourd for @papa-pepper!
I mean, it even looks like a snake, right? Personally, this is my first year growing these, but I'm excited to test them out. Also, they seem to grow really quick!
LOOK AT HOW BIG THIS ONE IS ALREADY! - THE VLOG
GETTING CLOSER TO THE HARVEST
It seems like only a few days ago that I was sharing about how quickly the gourd plants were climbing up my gourd tunnel, but the blockchain don't lie... it was a week ago. Anyway, these gourds are growing quickly now!
The birdhouse gourds on the other side of the tunnel are also beginning to fruit! Some of them are already an impressive size as well. Unlike the snake gourds which we'll be eating, these will just be used for crafts like birdhouses. Each dried birdhouse gourd comes with an impressive amount of seeds too, to keep us growing for years to come!
We are also getting excited for the harvest, since many of our other crops are growing now! This little cucumber will hopefully be the first of many. Two years ago we had tons of cucumbers growing and got pretty creative in using them too! We love healthy free food straight from the garden, and we're about to being the next exciting season of reaping what we've sown!
The tomatoes are about to BOOM too! Monster Truck the Pepper, @mama-pepper and I all enjoyed snacking on a few today. You should see how big just two of our plants are in the video compared to Pinkie-Pepper. I can almost taste the salsas and sauces already! It looks like it'll be another great year in the garden!
here's the proof:As always, I'm @papa-pepper and
proof-of-one-long-gourd
Until next time…

Healthy free food for you and your family. Well done!....:)...
LOVE your gourd tunnel! What a unique way to grow them!
I always like to keep most of the vine plants (pole beans, cukes, gourds and squash) up off the ground.
Had an experience few years back while picking cukes off the ground and a little snake popped out- keep in mind I am NOT fond of snakes AT ALL.. so now I grow these bushy plants up- lol
oh my gourd .... :)

I love to see when someone is so proud on their own grown food and show it to everybody :) it's like me. It is just like magic though, you plant a little seed and you will eat all sommer long. Sweet gardening I Love it!
That's right! One little seed can feed a family!
The results of a very complete garden, amazing, among the fruit I love the fruit of cucumber.
Me too! Those are very tasty!
It looks like you plan to bite the end off of that snake gourd, I think I saw it shudder....
:)
Nice veggies for the little peppers to pick!
LOL! Soon enough!
Draw a head on it, before you bite it off! You might even get the girls to squeal....
:D
It is not in vain what you have been doing,All of them bring good results,Enjoy what you have done first.
@papa-pepper my pal,I am sorry for lately I am always late in posting your comments, because I am sick again.
Your garden looks so scrumcious and healthy @papa-pepper awesome job sir.
This is really cool, @pap-pepper! I love what is happening in your garden. It so exciting when the plants start producing actual fruit and veggies! Itisso much better just to be able to walk out to the garden and chose what you want to eat rather than have to drive into town and get something that may or not have spent hours on a truck to get there...
I planted Hardy Kiwi this year. the fruits are about an inch and can be eaten like grapes-no fuzzy skin. They are doing well here in Michigan. Ever try those? The yield can be 10 gallons of kiwi fruit per plant. I planted the self-pollinating, but also a male plant because it will increase yield.
that gourd tunnel is nothing like i ever seen before!
may the blessing continue sir!
Are you planting pumpkin right now? Wanna get some tips on that.
Looking good 💯🐒
