Well if it is really faster than fast food depends on your choice of the ingredients off course.

Ingredients

IMG_20170705_1733182.jpg

125 gr of brown short grain rice
– can be replaced by every rice you like, when you like it fast, you can use normal white rice.

230 gr of minced meat

  • I used half pork/beef this time

200 gr of deep frozen carrot and peas
– replaceable by fresh or canned peas and carrots

½ medium onion
– I used red onion, but this also can be replaced by the one of your choice

3 eggs
Nutmeg
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil (coconut oil)

As said if you really like it fast, use white rice and canned carrot and peas. Then the dish is ready in the time your rice is cooked ;-)

Instructions

  • First start cooking your rice ( I add salt in the water)
  • Cook your eggs together for 9 minutes with your rice
  • Take a large enough pan that can contain all your ingredients at the end, you also can use a wok
  • Cut the union in small pieces
  • Heat the pan with some olive oil or coconut oil
  • Fry the onion gently, they don’t need to be colored
  • Add the minced meat and bake together with the onions

  • Add nutmeg, salt and pepper
  • Put the pan beside for a moment
  • Prepare your carrots and peas if you need to cook them otherwise when you use canned you can use them directly
  • Add the carrots and peas with the meat and onions

  • You can bake all together on a medium fire
  • Take out the eggs (put them in cold water to peal easy)
  • When rice is ready take decant it
  • Rinse the rice with hot water, drain it for a moment
  • Peal the eggs and cut in small pieces, I use a fork or an egg slicer
  • Add the rice to the other ingredients in the pan on a medium fire
