Thanks for sharing this @shawnamawna. I've heard about ketogenic diets and how they aid fat-loss. But if you don't mind me asking, just because I'm curious, do you have energy on a ketogenic diet? I've always heard that if you cut carbs you lack energy or it's reduced.

Yes! My energy was reduced when my body transitioned from carb to fat-burning. It took a few days for it to stop looking for carbs and start looking for fat. Basically, it's a long sugar crash. But once my body adjusted, my energy has been greater and more consistent over what I experienced on carbs.
Oh wow... I appreciate the info. With me I eat a decent amount of carbs but I can't go more than 2 or 3 hours without feeling like I need to eat... and usually I go for carbs, like fruit, as a snack. But it's not a stomach hunger, it's a feeling in my head, physiologically speaking. I've tried not eating anything for 4 hours and that makes me feel awful. I don't think that's normal
