It is one of the most hated insects in the world but these could have the alimentary key of the future, it is the cockroaches and if you only think them you are disgusted imagine ingesting them.
A group of scientists from India discovered that the intestines of the cockroaches Diplotera Punctate are full of protein crystals and these nutrients are found in the milk of this species with which it feeds their offspring.
The important thing about this research is that this milk contains four times the calories of cow's milk, making it a much more nutritious food.
It is a complete food: it has proteins, fats and sugars. It has all the essential amino acids.
