Binignit is the most common dessert soup for Visayan in the central region of the Philippines that is traditionally prepared during Holy week season and also serve as snacks.
For a family size Ingredients good for 8 person
- coconut milk (2cups)
- kamote (2 piece)
- Landang (1 cup)
- Gabi (2 pieces)
- sago (1 cup)
- brown sugar (half kilo)
- banana cardava (10 pieces)
- 1/2 L plain water liter
Let's get started...
- Boil the 1/2 plain water
- After boiling, put kamote, gabi, banana. Wait for 5 minutes
- Add the landang , sago and sugar, be sure to wash it properly. Wait for 10 minutes
- Put coconut milk and let it boil for 10 minutes
- Taste it on your desired flavour and you're done
