I do this all free hand so a lot of it is not totally accurate , but that’s how u know it was handmade & made with love, from the mistakes, like in any hand made gift or project!

How long does the average cake take to decorate?
The thing that takes the longest when I make a cake is the baking & cooling obviously , that takes a min. After that the coloring of the icing & putting that into bags... but the actual decorating doesn’t take me long... usually about 2/3 hours?
If that My Little Pony cake was a coloring book page, it would take me that long to just color it. And that’s if I didn’t take the time to out line everything. Lol
I loved making that too! The colors were just so bright!! When I color frosting I try & match the colors I see in pictures, because it makes a huge difference in the final project!!

Thank you so much! My first cake & decorated was for my son’s 1st Bday.. 22 yrs ago! 😁 I had so much enjoyment out of it that I would make cakes for friends.. & eventually was selling them. I still decorate, but not as much as when my little ones were growing up 😁

I'm a baker and patissier myself! I always loved baking, well just being in the kitchen, working with food is my thing. Even from a very young age! I love it when people are creative and especially with food! hope you find the picture!
