How to Prepare a Rich Venezuelan Oriental Pavilion?

Hello to all my dear steemians, here I am again to prepare a rich oriental pavilion for you. As many of you know, my country Venezuela is going through a profound economic crisis and, therefore, we Venezuelans have to prepare nutritious, rich, simple and medium-economical recipes.
Among the fish that are sold in my country, one of the moderately inexpensive ones you can get in the supermarket is the dogfish. So here I'm going to share with you the recipe for the Eastern Pavilion, which is a dish that contains: dogfish, white rice and fried banana.

Let's take it one step at a time and you'll see how easy it is.

How to prepare the dogfish:

Ingredients:

1 dogfish wheel
1 large onion
4 or 5 cloves of garlic
1 medium paprika
1 sweet chili pepper
2 scallions
½ cup of vinegar
1 cup water
parsley

Procedure

Pour into a cauldron ½ cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water

Place the dogfish wheel on medium heat for approximately 45 minutes.

Then let it rest and with the help of a fork (or if you prefer with your fingers) proceed to crumble the shark and remove the skin and bones.

Chop the onion in half and chop it in cubes. The other half is reserved.

The same procedure is carried out with garlic, chive (the other spring onion is reserved), chili pepper and paprika (the other half of the paprika is reserved).

Once the above ingredients have been chopped, fry the garlic and onion in a pot and then add the chives, sweet pepper, paprika and finally the previously shredded dogfish.

The other half of the onion, paprika and parsley are placed in the blender with two cups of water and added to the dogfish. Let it simmer until the water is consumed, but not complete because it must be juicy.

To prepare the Rice

Ingredients:

1 cup of white rice
2 cloves of garlic
2 cups and ½ water
½ spoonful of oil
Salt to taste

Procedure:

Fry the 2 cloves of garlic minced for a few seconds

Then add the rice and stir to combine the flavors and add the 2 cups and ½ of water. Put it on medium heat and then reduce it to a low heat until it dries.

Finally, to know if the rice is ready, a knife is inserted and if it comes out dry, the rice is ready.

To prepare the Banana Slices:

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana

Procedure:

Chop the banana into slices about 1/2 cm thick and fry in hot oil.
