The secret to keep you going with all mentioned below:

Most health-apostles are well-aware of the things mentioned below, but most is oblivious of the importance of doing something completely out of the ordinary.

Do something you like! It don’t have to be something you have to do. Find that something that isn’t necessary, but you just enjoy doing and stick to it. That something will help you stay motivated and give you the drive succeed with all the below.

Rest and sleep!

Getting the right amount of sleep is the single most important thing you can do to ensure that you will be the best and most resilient version of yourself, that you can possible be. While sleeping your mind undergoes “maintenance” and sleeping will furthermore prompt recovery of your muscle tissue and ensure the absolute best results of your training. Rest between sets doing various exercises is not to be underestimated and is equally as important as the exercise itself.

I can’t mention it enough how important it is to get sufficient sleep and rest.

Exercise!

Getting people to exercise has been a key element in my intervention with my clients. As a physical therapist, I find the body and mind equally important and exercise strengthens both, making the body stronger, faster, and more endurable while the mind receive its reward from an enhanced ability to learn, remember and endure stressful situations.

Make your own food!

Growing up with a trained chef as father, I learned early on how important it is to get meals made from fresh ingredients every day. Precooked meals and freshly cooked meals can’t be compared and by doing the cooking yourself you regain the control of carbohydrates, fat, protein, and you can obliterate the added sugar and other unwanted adds.   Cooking your own food doesn’t have to be hard or time-consuming. I usually work with three main ingredients which work well together.

E.g. peas, garlic and a nip of butter to be accompanied with wholegrain pasta or beans, pancetta and chili served on roasted ryebread. The secret is making it easy, finding recipes that working in your household. I’ll post some recipes in future post’s.

Can it be this simple? Let me know how well you get on with being at your best
