I'm not the world's biggest dessert eater, but this one even I enjoy & it's super easy to prepare:
You will need:
Fresh Pineapple-Dark Rum-Brown Sugar-Butter-Aluminum foil
Skin & core your pineapple, cut it into chunks. Make a basket with the aluminum foil. Gently heat the butter, add the brown sugar & rum. Get some coals ready & put the basket with pineapple & the butter-rum-brown sugar solution on the grill. Cooking time will vary, it's done when it's fork tender. I like mine right off the grill, others enjoy it on vanilla ice cream. However you like it, this recipe is a keeper for sure!
THX for stopping by! Please leave a comment below, I really enjoy discussing food with my fellow Steemians. 7-3's! The Kid
Cheryl peels then cuts the pina in half, then throws the whole half on the grill. Each half top works like a handle so they're easy to spin. I wonder if after that, if we diced it and then threw it back on in the foil with rum and for a couple minutes, would that be even better? hmmm....
Give it a try, let me know what you come up with! 7-3's!
