Durian season comes back, steemians!
Are you one of those crazy Durian eaters? Me? I am. Eating Durian with glutinous rice just like an obligation when the season comes. Why? Well, in our neighborhood whenever your neighbor are eating something with strong smell they will share it with you. You must be getting a plate of it for sure. So whether you like it or not, everyone can taste it on the season.

So, let's set a side our glutinous rice plate. Time to eat durian in different way, it's on pie!

Ingredients:
- 350 gr all purpose flour
- 200 gr butter
- 3 tbsp maizena
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 50 gr icing sugar
- 1 whole egg
- salt
Durian Vla
- 200 gr durian flesh
- 100 gr milk
- 1 tbsp maizena
- 2 tbsp hunkwe (optional)
- 100 gr sugar
- salt
Instructions:
- Place all the ingredients in a big bowl, beat until dull.
- wrap and store in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Take out the dough and roll/ flatten on the mold
- Bake for 25 minutes (more less)
Vla
- Whisk together all the vla ingredients
- Heat on non-sticky pan with low heat, stir.
- Let it cooked and pour on the pie crust.
- Serve

hi, i dont know much abouth durian but i hear that is the moust smeling fruit in the Word no?, do you eat it since you are Young?
I do. It's a popular one in Asia. Have ever tasted? It does smell, but the good one. 😀
im from Venezuela, i never try it becouse we dont get durian here, i see it in videos and documentals only,how it taste
