Hello friends, as a good Colombian I am a great follower of the coffee as one of our typical drinks and it is world renowned for its quality. For my taste it is one of the most useful drinks and can be used for different occasions. Therefore, I want to give you some suggestions from my own life to improve your experience with this drink if you want to put it into practice.
Coffee is a dream drink. Not because it creates drowsiness but because it has been and is the protagonist of stories, encounters, love, friendship and countless moments that the cinema, television and music have come to reality ... your reality!
Don't you enjoy having a cup of coffee in the morning or afternoon, feeling the smoke and the bitter smell on your face? How about having a cup with a candy? What a treat! In addition to being a very rich drink, coffee has vitamins, minerals and other elements that positively impact the organism.
In 2016, the World Health Organization (WHO) removed it from the list of elements that can cause cancer. They even concluded that it could be beneficial to protect people from at least two types of cancer, as well as heart disease, neurological disorders, type 2 diabetes, among other diseases.
Despite this scenario, it is important to be careful. Everything in excess is harmful to health. Caffeine, the main constituent of coffee, stimulates the central nervous system and increases heart rate. Pregnant women and hypertensive people, with obesity or anemia, to mention some conditions, should reduce or eliminate the consumption of the drink. As each case is different, it is best to be prudent and consult your doctor.
These recommendations will help you take care of your health when drinking coffee. Enjoy it with responsibility!
Do not consume more than two or three cups of coffee each day
The recommended daily intake of caffeine ranges from 400 to 500 milligrams. It is not possible to measure this quantity exactly by the number of cups since there are large and small, as well as there are more concentrated coffees, more or less filtered, etc. On average, one cup of espresso (very concentrated) has 250 milligrams of caffeine, which means it is not recommended to drink more than two cups a day. If the coffee is less concentrated, it is okay to take up to three.
Choose the best time of day to drink coffee
If you want to sleep fast, drinking coffee late at night will not be the best decision. Your body will not be in the best conditions to rest and fall asleep since you will be active. The morning or afternoon, when you get sleepy after eating, are ideal times for a cup of coffee because you will be filled with energy.
Drink your coffee with food
Do you think that coffee accompanied by a dessert or a sweet cake is one of the great pleasures of life? Being a hot drink that favors digestion and elimination of liquids, a cup of coffee after breakfast or lunch is ideal.
At first hour in the morning it is not good that you consume only coffee. While this is a drink that encourages you, your body needs fruits, protein and cereals to function fully the rest of the day. When you spend too much time without eating and only drinking coffee, your stomach is likely to catch fire. Do not mix with other elements such as cigarettes or antidepressants because you can suffer severe headaches or other negative consequences.
Avoid adding sugar to coffee
Use your palate to enjoy the bitter taste of coffee. In its composition, this has sweet nuances (varies according to the type of coffee, the place where it is cultivated, among other factors), so avoid adding sugar or sweetener. This also reduces your calorie intake. If you definitely do not want to do without the sweet,you should reduce the quantity of it .
