"Ie bu" or kanji is an Acehnese traditional food that mostly can be found at Fasting Month( Ramadhan). This food is processed at Menasah yard(the place where muslim perform shalat) every afternoon of fasting month as to prepare the menu of breaking the fast and will be supplied to all of the society at the certain village.
Below I provide some steps of making this kind of traditional food by picturing in detail from the first step until the last step.
What we should do first is washing the pot. Be sure the pot is really clear and clean. You can use washing soap to remove the stains from every single side of the pot.
After that try to fry the onion, garlic and some other components until presents a sweet smell.
Put the spice is done then, and don't forget to stir it well.
After spicing, pour the water to the pot and paddle it for a moment
And wait for a moment until it boils
Put or pour the water again
Just wait again for a moment until it boils for second time after adding some water.
Add some coconut milk at the last after adding some rice. And wait until it ripe.
such cool way to cook, nice outdoors location and the food looks good, have fun 😊
