Filipino Food

in #food7 years ago

Ever think of trying some new food that you've not eaten before. You should really try Filipino food once in your life time. They have many delicious dishes people around the world should be trying out. They can be just near your place where you live. Whether you are not pinoy, we welcome you to try our fascinating food.

The most common dish foreigners loves to eat is called adobo. Adobo is popular for its dish and the cooking process in Philippine cuisine. This involves the meat, seafood, or vegetables marinated in vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and black peppercorns, which is browned in oil, and simmered in the marinade

*If you do insist of trying adobo, I recommend the pork adobo. It's really your choice of favor.

My personal favorite just to eat on my daily basis is lumpia. Of course if some you guys are Filipino, lumpia is the most all time favorite for dinners and parties. There are many varieties of flavors just because why not right. What I like to add for my sauce is banana ketchup just so it can have some flavorless to it. If you do go to a Pinoy household full of friends, just know that you gotta eat fast or else it'll be gone by the time the party even starts.

I might just add some of the all time favorite dishes from the Philippines because there is a lot of them to talk about.

As I was saying, of course, you have to try sinigang. Why? Well maybe because this is a very unique dish to eat. It is very different from the foods all over the world. For that is my opinion. I don't even know how to describe it. The fact that the have so much things in it, you can taste all of the flavors that they just add in it. Trust me once you get to taste this amazing sinigang, you would want to make some of your own at home.

You can either get chicken or pork for your meat to be added. Isn't that better than just one meat added? Yes of course it is.

These are just just some of the dishes from the Philippines that I really recommend to people who want to try new food at least

I will now tell you guys some of the desserts that Pinoy or even foreigners love to have for desserts

The one that catches a lot of the people attention is a dessert called halo-halo. Halo-halo just means mix mix, which means this dessert makes you mix all of the ingredients inside. There's so many fillings in halo-halo you won't even know it'll be in there, it's like a surprise.

I am doing one more dessert that I recommend from a Pinoy restaurant or store is ginataan. There are many more desserts to try out but ginataan is what I recommend for you. Ginataan is mostly made out of coconut milk, ube, rice balls, and mango. People get astonished by the vibrant color, PURPLE, that makes them to try it. Now some ginataan aren't just the color of purple but white, yellow. or brown.
