Fried Banana (Pritong Saging)
(Fried Banana) Pritong Saging is the most easiest way to cook banana.
Ingredients
banana (preferably saba) / Green Banana
vegetable oil
sugar

Banana Fritter (Maruya)
The bananas are sliced or mashed and then mixed with of flour, sugar, vanilla, and a binder which is egg usually.
Ingredients
• banana “Saba” banana, mashed
• flour
• vanilla extract
• egg, beaten
• baking powder
• white sugar
• fresh milk
• cooking oil
• salt
Procedure
Pinasugbo
Pinasugbo is from Ilonggo (Philippines) pasalubong. It is a sliced banana, deep fried, and coated with caramelized sugar.
Ingredients
banana (preferably saba) / Green Banana
brown sugar
vegetable oil
sesame seeds (optional)
Procedure
- Peel the Banana and sliced thinly.
- In a pot melt the brown sugar until it caramelized. (Add water if needed)
- When the mixture boils, you can add the bananas. Carefully mix the bananas until it is well coated. After 15-20 minutes, remove the bananas.
- Wait until cold, dip into sesame seeds.
Your Pinasugbo is ready! Enjoy your sweet and chewy snack.
Sweetened Banana(Minatamis na saging)
Minatamis na saging if directly translated means sweetened banana, it is a very sweet dessert which is made out of Cardaba banana or locally known as “Saba” that is cooked in brown sugar syrup
Ingredients:
bananas saba
brown sugar
water
vanilla extract (optional)
Procedure:
- Peel bananas and slice into 1/2 inch thick.
- In a medium pot or sauce pan, mix together water and sugar.
- Throw in sliced bananas.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat to medium low and allow to simmer until sauce has slightly reduced and thickened.
- Serve warm. & Enjoy.
Their are more ways to cook and enjoy bananas just keep on thinking.
