Tasty snack review - Blue Diamond Nut Thins.

Everyone that enjoys the taste of almonds and buys them at the grocery store probably knows the name Blue Diamond.

They make several different kinds of nuts but focus on almonds.

They also make almond milk and a variety of other products that are based on almonds or other kinds of nuts.

One of these products is a new kind of "chip" or snack treat.

Blue Diamond Nut Thins.

There are a ton of different flavors.

Almond
Hint of sea salt
Pecan
Smokehouse.
Cheddar Cheese
Country Ranch
Pepper Jack.
Honey mustard
Honey cinnamon.

That's a heck of a lot of variety for a new product. You would think maybe they would want to test the waters before releasing so many different flavors all at once.

I'll tell you why I decided to try these.

Buy 1 get 2 free.

Normally when you see something that's buy 1 get 2 free they jack up the original price really high.

They didn't do that in this case.

You can get 3 boxes of these for $3.29.

I got Smokehouse, Cheddar Cheese, and Honey Cinnamon because I wanted to try out a variety of different kinds of flavors.

These are gluten free and claim to be healthy for you.

I can tell you right away that there is a problem with these Nut Thins though.

As soon as you put one in your mouth you will realize that it is a rice cracker.

Not a rice cake mind you....... but a rice cracker like the kind you might find in a box of Chinese snack treats.

It's possible there might be some nut seasoning on these or something but they are definitely a rice cracker.

The taste is actually pretty good but there's actually another problem too.

These things are as crunchy as you can imagine.

Everybody likes a nice crunch but honestly after eating a handful of these it just got really tiring.

I honestly think these are too crunchy and they definitely don't taste like nuts at all.

Having said that....... these are a pretty good rice cracker and it's definitely a value to get 3 for $3.29.

The Smokehouse flavor tasted exactly like Smokehouse flavored Blue Diamond Almonds so it was really good. I think that's my favorite flavor that they have.

The cheddar cheese one was pretty standard tasting for a cheddar cheese flavored chip.

These flavors aren't anything to get very excited about but they're also not bad.

If you're looking for a tasty rice cracker that says it's a Nut Thin........ these are the way to go.
