4. Raw Vegan Energy Balls.jpg

Hey my lovely Steemian Foodies! How is everyone doing today?

Today I want to share a super easy recipe for healthy delicious energy bites with you! Eating healthy doesn't mean you can't enjoy sweets anymore. These raw vegan energy balls don't only satisfy your sweet tooth but give you energy and you don't experience that "sugar crash" you normally get from artificially sweetened foods.

Are you ready for some sweet treats? Here we go...

Prep time: 20 min
Portions: 30

Ingredients

  • 300 g dates
  • 300 g nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)
  • decoration: cocoa poweder, goji berries, chopped almonds, coconut flakes, sesame

Instructions

  1. In a food processor blend the dates and nuts into a dough. If you don't have a food processor, you can first blend the nuts into a flour using your blender and then seperetely mix the dates into a dough. Afterwards just mix everything together with your hands.
  2. Add some water if too sticky.
  3. Form little balls and decorate them with cocoa poweder, goji berries, nuts or seeds.

Craving for something sweet? 😋

Thank you Lisa ♥ I hope you'll try them :) Have a great day!

good post! it looks very delicious! I love such food!

Thank you so much love!!

I haven't tried the goji berry version. I also make them with raisins and dip them in melted chocolate :-)) so decadent ...ok maybe no the healthiest but good on special occasions.

Melted chocolate, that sounds soo good :)♥

Thanks for the recipe! I am doing similar bars as well. What I really like is to mix dates with some dried apricots or use only dried apricots! But you need to get really soft ones, they are soo yummy and it is easy to blend them. It's sweet, delicious & healthy!

You're most welcome! Ohh that sounds yummy, I love dried apricots ♥

Look so delicious

Thank you for your kind words :)

I love to make balls like these! They make a perfect snack + they can be stored in a fridge for quite a while even tho I eat all of them the same day I make them haha they are just so good I can't resist :)
