High Tea Buffet At Swiss Garden Malacca

in #food7 years ago (edited)

Hi guys, I just went for a high tea buffet at Swiss Garden Malacca and it was a lot better than expected. It's so much better than the buffet at Casa Del Rio.

It was only RM50 nett per person which is quite affordable and I liked most of the food. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera so I used a phone camera instead.

Pardon the not-so-nice photos!

We went early so the dessert table was mostly left untouched!

I love the colors.

They have different types of ice cream including cendol ice cream.

They served 'roti jala', 'murtabak', 'roti john' with lovely curry and dhal.

The image is a little dark here. The background is actually Kampung Morten which is right in town.

All kinds of appetizer here.

They have some fruits and you can put some rojak sauce on it.

Since it's high tea, they have lots of bread and croissant.

The satay was so popular I didn't even try.

On the plate you'll see roti jala, fish fillet, okonomiyaki and a mini chicken danish.

Their satay but I didn't try it.

I liked the appetizers quite a lot. They were all pretty good. :)

They served some sushi as well, but nothing fancy.

This is their ice kacang and the ice cream was taken separately.

Bread pudding with vanilla sauce.

Some of their desserts. The picture doesn't look that appetizing.

The photos weren't taken nicely but I hope you guys enjoyed the photos!

Thanks for reading.

As usual I appreciate all upvotes, resteems and follows.

So much choice for the desserts.

Looks like an awesome buffet with all the good stuff

Yeah it was better than expected :)

I want to eat in that restaurant. You are part of my "Food by Red Fish" post. Take a look if you like.

Thanks for the mention!

I'll have some of that roti jala, murtabak, roti john, and satay please!!

Wow. I am hungry now. This looks good lol

It's quite good and affordable :P

I wish I was there now

Looks like a good buffet! The ice cream selection sounds especially interesting. Here in Toronto, it's usually North American flavours at Asian buffets but Asian ice creams sound way more interesting, haha. Btw, what is rojak sauce?

Haha I don't know how to explain so this is wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rojak

Wow, I can see why it would have been difficult to explain. It's not what I expected it to be at all with the shrimp paste. I don't think I've ever seen it used before, very interesting! I can't think of anything to compare it to although in Mexico they sprinkle some tajin on fresh fruit and it's a mix of chili, salt and lime. Thanks! :)

Nice post really like it.....
upvoted!!!

Wah!!! Yummilicious indeed....

This all food is WOW

Eh, RM50 is dam affordable for buffet la.

KL prices go up to RM100 la... no need say that one. Nice la

:-) I was wondering!

Mouthwatering!

So many choices ... worth it !! Thanks for sharing.

Yea it was quite affordable :)

Phone camera or not, it all looks delicious!! Yummm... 😋 Great job capturing it all! Sometimes, I'm a little shy about taking shots like these in case someone stops me 😜 And RM50 nett is a great deal... feel like driving down to Malacca for a day trip n lunch there! 😄

Haha really shy leh. Don't like to take photos when people are taking food. :P
