After a busy long week at work, spending time in the kitchen to make delicious food is one of my ways to relax. I got the nut roast recipe from my sister-in-law and this is the second time I’ve made this and it's very easy to make.
Ingredients:
1 red onion
1 small red pepper
3 garlic cloves
200g chestnut mushroom
200g lentils
150g mixed nuts
100g cheddar cheese
150g breadcrumbs
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp dried parsley
4 eggs
Steps:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
Blend the nuts
Finely cut the onion, garlic, mushrooms, and pepper, then fry them until soft
In a bowl, mix together the fried veggies and the rest of the ingredients.
Transfer the mixture in a shallow baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.
Then, dish out and ready to eat :)
