Food can be as " Any thing when we ingested provide us energy, nutrients, take part in the growth of our body, provide us vitamins,mineral,carbohyderates, prepared the body aganist disease, take part in restoration of our body, prevent the body from diseases is called food." For examples of food are bread, meat,milk,youghrt,butter,chicken,beef,moton etc. Cold driks,tea and coffees are also include in food.

There are following three major types of food.
Stable Food.
Persishable Food.
Semi perishable Food.

Stable Food.
Stable food can be defined as " A stable food or simple staple food that is eaten routienly and in such quntities that is countitutes a dominant portion of a standerd diet for a for a given people. It contain 5___15% moisture level. Due to low moisture contents it has long shelf life 5mont to 2years.

PERISHABLE FOOD.
Perishable foods contains moisture level 15 to 75%. Due to normal moisture contents their shelf life is 2month to 1 year. For examples jams, jaly etc.

Semiperishable food.
Semiperishable food contains moisture level 75 to 95 %. Due to high moisture content they have very low shelf life 1day to 1 week. From examle milk.
