I Added Some Organic Eggs to my Scrambled Veggies and Called it Scrambled 🍳. Breakfast of Champions, Super Simple Recipe.

in #food8 years ago

This recipe actually has a lot more veggies in it than it does eggs, in case you where confused about the goofy tittle lol. I was going to make just some Scrambled egg and add some tomatoes and bell peppers and onions. But I had all of these buts and odds and ends of veggies that my creative and resourceful light bulbs both light up and I went to town on my fridge and kitchen. 😂😂😋🙈

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup of cauliflower flowerets
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup of chopped carrots
1/2 cup of french cut string beans
1/2 cup diced red onion
Freshly cracked black pepper and salt to taste
1 tbsp of organic coconut oil
6 organic pasture raised eggs

Put your diced onions down on a hot pan with coconut oil first and cook until translucent and aromatic, then drop the rest of your veggies and wait 30 seconds in between to keep pan from cooling qnd steaming your veggies.

Once your veggies are cooked to your desired doneness, scramble your eggs with a whisk and add them in. Cook to how you like them, stirring them with a rubber spatula so they dont become burned. I like to eat mine with Franks Red Hot Sauce or Crystal hot Sauce. A great way to get some protein, fiber, and all your vitamins in the morning to start your day. 😋👨🏼‍🍳🔪

Good post.

Looks delicious. Resteemed.

I, too, like a little egg with my veggies. Spinach, tomato, onion, mushroom, swuash, zucchini, whatever veggies you like, you csn add it to you eggs.

Yes sir, great stuff.
