The Cosy Club is a quirky looking eatery that really does serve up a sense of being somewhere special with a hint of nostalgia, it’s one of my categorical favourite places to go for a lazy brunch. The staff are always very welcoming, the atmosphere is definitely family friendly.
The décor and seating are all pretty much characterised. There is a fabulous sofa area for those that want to kick back and relax and also a little outdoor seating area for the sunny warmer days. It feels like it has little hideaways as if you have the place to yourself which allows it to live up to its name the cosy club.
I usually pick from the vegan/vegetarian option only because the meat is not halal, nevertheless, the food is always lush. I tend to order the following:
Fried/poached egg, falafel (sometimes), grilled tomato, field mushroom, wood-roasted peppers, fried potatoes and baked beans with toast.
Latte, ice coffee (it wasn’t nice, far too watered down), orange juice, babyccino and hot chocolate.
As a whole, I’ve always been impressed with the food, presentation, service and the shabby chic interior. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem.
