Ultimate list of 10 Indian Spicy Snacks to try.

The diversity of food in India provides you with a huge challenge. Which food to eat?



This is not an easy task to address. If you have an opportunity to travel to India be sure to try out this list.


Let us attempt to begin with the adventurous and spiciest of snack on​ this list.

1. Chilli Bajji

To the Daring foodies: Made of Fresh green chilli peppers dipped into a batter before deep frying. This quick snack is a go-to​ for spice lovers.

2. Samosa

Spicy mix of potatoes herbs and some curry wrapped in a sturdy pastry. This is a delicacy that quite unites the nation.

3. Jhal Muri

A spicy mix of puffed rice, onions, spice powder and lime. This dish is a riot of flavours and textures and extremely easy to make.

4. Masala vada

Extremely popular in Southern India; It resembles Falafel but this delicacy is made for gods. Just another level of awesomeness.

5. Masala puri

This dish is a menange of textures, Crunchy crackers mixed with a spicy sauce and served with a fresh salad. Makes me go mad over it every single time.

6. Kachori

Where should I even begin; It is one of the king of street foods. A disc shaped delicacy filled with sweet and sour sauce and some diced onions. Has all the trademarks of a great Indian street food.

7.Pani puri

Almost every Indian Swears it to be one Street snack no one should miss. It is for good reason, To the novince it tastes like no other snack on the planet. A puffed wafer ball filled with spiced water and mashed potato, You can and should exprience it. The experience can't be described.

8. Murukku

_ A personal favourite childhood snack made of lentil batter deep fried in coconut oil. Crispy, Crunchy and better than potato chips (Yes I said it!!)_.

9. Pakora

This comfort home snack made of roasted chick pea flour batter and choice of vegetables coated on is quick and easy to make for a large number of guests. It is close relative to the bajji.

10. Bakarwadi

Popular in maharashtra and the western parts of India. This buiscuit like snack is mix of sweet and spicy and a favourite along with milk tea.

Wow thank you for those awesome receipts and foods! But I wish you would write the full receipts so that we could try at home! :) However, as a fareast cuisine fan, thank you for sharing this, ill definitely try them!

These are quite a list of Indian food that I would like to try out. I am adventurous when it comes to food specially with great combination of spices.
