Hugot Lines + Chocolates = HUGOT CHOCOLATES!

It was Friday night, I was walking around Vertis North (Ayala Mall) after my training, I saw the stands just outside the main entrance. A bit curious, I went there and found out that there was an event happening. There were different store stands - clothing, accessories, shoes and food stands. But one stand catch my attention. The "Hugot Lines Chocolate" stand.

It was not an ordinary chocolate stand because you cannot see common chocolate brands here like Toblerone, Cadburry, Hershey, Kitkat, etc. You will see variety of "Hugots" here and as far as I know, I haven't seen any of this before.

Here's some lines that will make us smile 😋:

HUGOT LINES:

Ikaw ang aking Forever! (Walang Forever!!)


Ang cute mo nung baby ka pa, pero mas cute kung baby kita!!! (Maglagay ka na rin ng tsupon at diapers)


Ang gwapo mo promise / Ang pogi mo bes (Thank you, but I need cash)


Chocolate is the sweetest way of saying I love you! (Not true, panutsa is the sweetest)

Some are hilarious "Basag" lines (lines that makes you want to shake your head tsk3)

BASAG LINES:

Siopao ka ba? Binola-bola ka na, Asadong asado ka pa (Meow!)


Nilaglag mo na lahat ng tinidor nyo pero wala paring dumarating na lalake sa buhay mo.. (try mo tinidor ng kapitbahay nyo)


Ang pag-ibig parang ferris wheel, akala mo pinasaya ka.. pinaikot ikot ka lang pala! (there's still another ride, don't give up)

Not only "hugot lines" but there are also some inspirational lines:

INSPIRATIONAL LINES:

Faith is like a wifi, it's invisible but it has the power to connect you to what you need. (We just need to connect, it's free and unlimited)


Choose Happiness. (short yet powerful statement)


You need not be afraid where you're going when you know God is going with you. (Always, all the time)

On the other hand, the stand also have some weird and strange flavors.

Flavors which will make you say "What does it taste like?"
It includes:

*Chili
*Matcha
*Peppermint
*Sea Salt
*Dark
*Cappuccino

Aside from chocolate bars, they also sell candies.

One more thing that I have to share is that the price is very cheap. 1 bar for 35 pesos (0.67 US Dollar) which is budget friendly for someone like me. There's also 3 for 100 php ($1.92 for 3 bars of chocolate).

So I asked the seller if she made the chocolates and asked her permission if I can take a picture of her sweet treats. She even gave me the contact details in case I want to order.

After our conversation, I bought chocolate for myself.

It's also funny that they include some "Nutrition Facts" at the back of the chocolate bar.
