My personal favorite from my time in Japan is nama-tamago-kake-gohan: literal translation is raw egg over rice. You crack the egg, whip it with some soy sauce, and pour it straight over steaming hot rice. I found a supplier in Hawaii that performs the same low-temperature pasteurization done in Japan to keep the eggs salmonella free, it SOOO good!
