SIMPLE & SOFT COCONUT CREAM PANCAKES πŸ“· FOOD PHOTO SHOOT & RECIPE πŸ“·

Hey Steemians! As you can tell, berries are in full swing here in Chile

Yesterday I posted a raspberry dish Raspberry Ice Cream Sandwiches. That post received a vote or two. Let's see how the blueberries and strawberries fare today.

This is a simple pancake recipe, the secret ingredient is the coconut cream and the coconut oil.

How was your weekend? I went to see Assassins Creed. I wish I had those two hours back.

Side Note: Even with the rep of 70, I am still trying to figure this steemit thing out. I keep experimenting with my posts but due to the random nature of things, I really cannot tell what works and what does not, when it comes to my experiments that is. One thing I know for certain, the community likes my photos. I'd like to take it to the next level, but I am uncertain which direction to go.

RECIPE

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
2 3/4 cups milk
3/4 cup coconut cream
2 tablespoons coconut oil
3 eggs
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional but amazing)
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Mix coconut oil, coconut cream, sugar, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in eggs, salt, baking powder, and vanilla. Stir in flour.
  2. Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease lightly. Pour about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake onto griddle and cook for 1 to 2 minutes then flip and cook on other side for 1 to 2 minutes more until done.
  3. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute coconut milk in this recipe if you can't find coconut cream. Just replace the 3/4 cup coconut cream and the 2 3/4 cup regular milk with 1 1/2 cups coconut milk and 2 cups regular milk.

I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PHOTOS?

ALL CONTENT IS MINE AND ORIGINAL! All of these food photos were taken with my Nikon D5300 and my favorite Lens, the Nikon AF-S FX NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G. You can find out more in my INTRO POST.

These pancakes are definitely a must try. I'll have to plan them for breakfast, or dinner soon :) American thing as you know, breakfast for dinner. Also, don't be afraid to step up your engagement beyond just your well placed and creative photos. You never know unless you try. Best of luck and success to you all the way.

I'm right there with you since, I'll be reaching rep 70 in the far future but due time, although, I never know when exactly to post, and for each person I figure it's different because a different set of whales are witnessing each selective area of people I feel to balance out the rewards. I used to get multiple whale votes, and now it has since then boiled down to @ned up voting me, which I'm grateful for indeed, but he is a busy man and the post does sometimes go unnoticed at large. However, I do hope the rewards can be spread across to all those who do deserve it, there are so many talented people, such as yourself here dedicating handwork and passionate posts into the community for all of us to enjoy.

We just need to go whale hunting outside , @son-of-satire has a Trump image for promotion. Now we just need to grow and increase the value of the platform :) . Forming local communities and impacting the outside world wuld be ideal , show how steemit can change and give to the world , maybe get events or weekly/monthly recurring "shows". That would be my ideal way to grow and increase the value inside and out. There are so many great people here, we just need to start working together , rather than focus only on 10% of the inflation. think of how much more inpact this platform will have if it gets people off of it and catapults them into the real world , if this is our home we shuldn't just stay inside and live on handouts. Maybe I'm rushing, but with time Steemit can be a great opportunity , for connections , business , even money transactions , hopefully it blooms into something like linkedin , youtube , gmail , paypal and stays true to it's core principles and values , unlike some of those that got sold and became a part in a mechanism , disconnected from their inception. But politics would inevitably factor in so it shouldn't be rushed , at least what I'm ranting about , the price can raise now and give me some of that steem so I can feed my growing Power hunger :D :D :D

Yeah I definitely don't have the mind for any of this lol I'm more about the creative aspect as you can tell, as far as the business side, I just stay in my lane. But I do hope to see improvements in the price of Steem for sure!

We need the value of steem to go up. Steem being at $0.15 and many more users equals low payouts for everybody. Hopefully soon things will change

Yes I completely agree. hoping and praying for a good change.
